The mouth on my face was trying hard to pray

Vainly making noises in the effort to delay
Bit by bit the teeth all feel out in dismay
As the buzzards flew in on by on to gather they away
They took their time to find where each tooth lay
To bring them back to neverland to keep my mouth at bay
My gum flapped after the stupid dental display
As the cackling of the wind scratched at my bouquet
The flowers dropped in petals fashioned out of clay
And broke upon the floor as the world began to sway
And up the ladder went my mouth, so I couldn't

heave orchards in my spare time
my bare pantomime is refreshing
like the cool lemonade on Summer
days, and somehow waves of
orchids come again and back.
Black. The days go by and make
me feel like I can fly again, you see
it isn't me – but the bumble bee that
sexed up my flowers in the Spring.
I may take that ring.
I may fall like Autumn leaves
until an orchid retrieves my broken claims
and places them into a vase
and makes them face my fears and tears
until it breaks and takes it all away
to replace them all with petals
It could be beautiful.
